The sights and sounds of the 2017 solar eclipse the best I could capture. We were about an hour south of St. Louis near Festus, MO at the center of the path of totality. I also set up an audio recorder in the woods to capture the sounds during this monumental event. Closeups shot with Canon 7d using Tamron 70 – 300mm lens plus telephoto converter with Cokin ND2, ND4 & ND8 filters. Other shots using Go Pro Hero 4, Samsung s6, and Phantom 4 Drone. Totality started at 1:19pm on August 21st, 2017 – 8 minutes.
